After more than 20 years in his family home, James decided it was time to extend the property, create a larger kitchen, and finally open the house up to the garden. Previously, the garden was only accessible via a side path, so improving flow was key to the design.

Working in construction, James knew exactly what he wanted from his new doors, smooth operation, strong security, and a finish that worked inside and out.

With building work underway, he met with our team and chose two sets of bifolds: a two-door configuration and a five-door opening, both fitted with robust multi-point locking for complete peace of mind. A dual-colour option meant he didn’t have to compromise on style,  Hipca White for a clean, bright interior, and Mahogany externally to blend seamlessly with the existing first-floor windows.

The finished extension has transformed the way the home works. The room is now filled with natural light, the kitchen and dining space feels significantly larger, and the transition to the patio is effortless. What was once a disconnected area is now a single, free-flowing space perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.

James says the project has completely changed how the house feels and functions, and it’s even become requested wedding-reception territory for family friends.
