Stonecrest Homes LTD took on the ambitious restoration of seven Grade II listed barns in Essex, transforming them into luxury family homes that perfectly blend historic character with modern living. The barns’ original features from bold timber beams and vaulted ceilings to historic threshing floors and red brickwork, were carefully preserved to celebrate their heritage, while creating spaces designed for contemporary lifestyles.

The development features a thoughtfully selected mix of Origin and Reynaers products, all finished in Anthracite Grey, to provide a consistent and elegant aesthetic. Origin front doors, in a variety of configurations, were installed to suit the individual layouts and provide welcoming entrances for each property. OW-80 door couplers were used where extra light and seamless flow were required, while OW-70 windows throughout maintain slim, contemporary sightlines and flood the interiors with daylight. In the open-plan living areas, Reynaers CP130 sliding doors bring the gardens inside, offering effortless indoor–outdoor living. Where elegance and functionality were key, Origin OB-49 French door sets provide stylish, practical access while complementing the period architecture.

The result is a collection of seven individually designed homes that honour the history of Beaumont Hall Barns while delivering bright, modern interiors. The consistent Anthracite Grey finish ties the development together, highlighting the bold architectural features and creating homes that feel both timeless and contemporary.
